Seller-reported checks covered receipt and expense totals, invoice payments and balances, saving and reopening, and one-page invoice PDF output. A fresh-original workbook was also checked in Excel Android for basic totals and save/reopen.
Desktop Excel, Excel for the web and Google Sheets have not been manually verified. These are limited workflow checks, not a promise that every feature works in every app or version. Spreadsheet software is not included.
A few helpful details
A simple tool with a clear scope. Here is what it does—and what you will manage yourself.
It is a downloadable .xlsx workbook, supplied in a ZIP with an HTML start guide and a text licence. You need a compatible spreadsheet application. There is no subscription or online account inside the workbook.
Yes. Choose one currency for each workbook and update the label in Setup. This does not convert amounts or apply exchange rates. Enter all amounts consistently in the chosen currency.
No. The invoice template only applies a tax percentage you enter to the discounted subtotal. It does not choose tax rates, calculate tax-return liabilities, support mixed tax rates or file returns. Check local invoice requirements yourself.
No. Creating an invoice does not log it in the tracker, email it or collect payment. Record the invoice and receipts yourself. The template’s already-received amount is also a manual entry; the Client Tracker does not auto-fill it.
Yes. You may use and modify it for your own business, keep backups, allow your staff to use it for that business, and send generated invoices to customers. You may not resell or publicly share the editable package. See the terms for the complete usage permission.
Keep the blank master and make a working copy. Use the designated input cells, check dates and review dates, and avoid overwriting formulas. Formula cells are not locked. Stay within the prepared entry limits and back up your work.
No. It is recorded cash received minus recorded cash expenses for the selected calendar year. It is not accounting profit or a verified bank balance. The toolkit has no bank feeds, inventory, payroll or automated year-to-year balance carry-forward.
